Session for Francis Rossi

Had ย a great session today with Andy Brook and Francis Rossi at Francis’s home studio.

There were some tough chord changes to play, however Francis went to great lengths to assure me he was only using three of them (but I’m sure he snuck in some secondary dominants!)

Brilliant Light - Danny and the Champions of the World

Brilliant Light – Danny and the Champions of the World

Brilliant Light – the new Danny and the Champs album, is now available for pre-order in double and triple formats!

Written and recorded over a period of six months, with much of it rehearsed, arranged and recorded in the same session, it’s a rambling treasure trove of artifacts and rarities!

New Champ Andy Fairclough has added clavi, mellotron, rhodes, hammond, wurly and piano to the sonic arsenal, not forgetting his large box of primordialย percussion instruments!

We are very proud, hope you like it!

Session for Don Wheatley

I spent this afternoon with Wheatleys Don and John (from Suburban Dirts) putting down some pedal steel on a track for Don’s album in the making. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album..

The reception to his recent release ‘Mad Dogs and Moondogs’ has been phenomenal, may this continue..!
